A quiet, steady man with a great sense of humor, he was truly an artist with wood, most notably the home he built for his family, and a handmade drift boat that he often used to go fishing with his wife Leanne and daughter Abigail. Originally from Lake Charles, Louisiana, and son of David Domingue and Betty Grahmann, Andre came to Jackson in 1988 to rock climb with a friend, but when his van broke down he decided to stay and apply his trade as a carpenter in Jackson. He was self-employed, and also worked for many area home builders. He fell in love with the mountains, wildlife and streams, he also fell in love with Leanne Melnyk, from Sewickley, PA, who initially came out to work at the old 4 Lazy F Ranch in Moose, WY. They were married July 28th, 1995 at the Chapel of the Transfiguration. On September 22nd, 1998 they were overjoyed with the birth of Abigail Mary Domingue, who is currently a freshman at Teton High School. Andre is survived by his immediate family, Leanne and Abigail; his father David Domingue and his wife Lucille of Evans, LA; mother Betty Grahmann and husband Ben of Spring Branch TX; brother David Domingue and wife Autumn, children Zachary, Halie, and John Luke of Hunt, Texas ; and sister, Katie Domingue, and children Magen and Makaela of Buda, TX. A memorial service will be held on Monday, February 10th at 7:00pm at Driggs Senior Center in the Driggs City Center Building at 60 S Main Street (Suite 200), which is best accessed through the West entrance, which faces Ace Hardware.
