Damon Lagana, age 37, of Driggs, Idaho, died Thursday, November 27, 2008 at the Teton Valley Hospital of heart failure. Damon was born July 31, 1971 in Norwalk, California. As a youth he played Little League baseball and Pop Warner football. He went to school at Norwalk High. He took up the family trade as a carpenter. Damon and his dad Richard, brother Mike and Uncle Bret enjoyed working together. He moved to Teton Valley in 1993. He married Angel Dreher August 12, 1998 Damon enjoyed being around family, friends, fishing, being outside and having lots of fun. He liked to joke and clown around. Damon decided to be a follower of Jesus and was saved in 1984. Through many missteps, Damon never quit trying to be the man God called him to be. He was loving, optimistic and tenacious. His family and friends will never forget how handsome, humorous, generous, compassionate and caring he could be.

While Damon was doing very well, we trust that God in His grace and mercy called him home into His kingdom at just the right time. We will sorely miss him.

1 Peter 1:3-5 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled and that does not fade away, reserved in heaven for you, who are kept by the power of God through faith for salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

Damon always had a close relationship with his family and always made sure they knew he loved them.
