Francis Adams Hooper, age 58, passed away sometime between the dates of October 28th thru the 31st. Francis was born in Jacksonville, Florida December 4th 1955. He is preceded in death by his mother Mary H. Hooper and father Duncan L. Hooper. He is survived by an older sister Matilda H. Walker and two older brothers Steve and John Hooper. Francis never married and resided in Felt, Idaho for a majority of his life. He first arrived in Teton Valley as a young boy. He came here with his father who was an avid fly fisherman and taught Francis how to fish. His father loved the area so much that he purchased a vacation property in Felt. Francis loved music and played guitar in a band at one time. He also loved cats and will miss his companion Rusty. He also loved many outdoor activities, among which were hiking and target shooting. Francis was a good neighbor and friend to all who knew him. Francis will be laid to rest at the Haden cemetery Thursday the 20th at 2pm on Route 33. Memorial contributions would be appreciated in care of the Teton Valley Hospital. Francis believed strongly in paying his debts. Francis had a life threatening experience a couple years ago and the hospital saved his life. The funeral home in charge of arrangements is McKague's Valley Mortuary. We will all miss Francis and may he rest in peace and glory with our savior.
