Hellen Supergan

October 13, 1927 — January 20, 2016

Hellen M. Supergan, passed away at 88 years old on January 20, 2016 of respiratory failure as a result of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD). She never used any tobacco products.

Hellen was born October 13, 1927 at her family farm in Fremont Center, Illinois. She was the fourth child of nine children. She married her beloved husband, Edwin Supergan, on June 2, 1951. She loved dancing and listening to Ed play the accordion in his band, "The Golden Tones Orchestra." Throughout her life, she was a devoted wife and caring mother of 7 children. She was a devout Catholic and participated in many church activities throughout her life. She also served as an election official for several years.

In 1985, Hellen and Ed moved from IL to Prescott Valley, AZ. She enjoyed her family, dancing, gardening, canning, crocheting, crafts, volunteering at the Church, and visiting the sights in AZ and surrounding areas.

She is survived by 7 children, 12 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren. Hellen is preceded in death by her husband, Ed, and 4 of her 8 siblings.

The family would like to thank Dr. Levanger and the nurses at Driggs Health Clinic, Teton Peaks Assisted Living, Encompass Home Health Care, Lincare, and friends and extended family for their love and support. Contributions may be made to Saint Mary’s of Fremont Center, Illinois or Saint Germaine of Prescott Valley, Arizona.

Funeral services will be Friday, January 29, 2016 at Saint Germaine’s Church in Prescott Valley, Arizona. The Rosary will be at 10:30 a.m., the Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m., and a Luncheon will follow the Mass.

Funeral Services for Illinois will be Saturday, February 20, 2016 at 10:00 at the St. Mary's Church located at 22333 West Erhart Road, Mundelein, IL  60060.  The burial of the Ashes will follow the Mass and a luncheon will follow the burial at Crossroads of  Ivanhoe Restaurant, located at 20915 West Park, Mundelein, Il 60060.
