James "Mike" Michael Taylor, age 74, of Wilson, Wyoming formerly of Driggs, Idaho died Tuesday, June 17, 2014 while on vacation in South Carolina. Mike was born August 2, 1939 in Driggs, Idaho to Ernest and Mary Isabel Garn Taylor. He left Driggs the day after graduation in 1957. He then lived in the Wilson area the remainder of his years. In his later years he spent the winters in Beaver Dam, Arizona. He married G. Sue Thomson at the top of the Teton Pass on August 26, 1962. He was a volunteer fireman and founding member of the Wilson Fire Department, retiring in 2008. His main love was ranching. He was a member of the ASCS Board. When he had a little time he loved to hunt, fish and spend time with his family. He is survived by his wife G. Sue Taylor; 2 sons James Michael (Janice) Taylor of Bozeman, Montana and Dale Edward Taylor of Tucson, Arizona; a daughter Isabel S. (Greg) Taylor Mathews of Billings, Montana; 2 brothers Star Taylor of Rigby, Idaho and Burt Taylor of Victor, Idaho; 2 sisters Linda Hanson of Las Vegas, Nevada and Glenda Parker of Florida; 3 grandchildren. Funeral services are on Saturday June 28, 2014 at the Presbyterian Church of Jackson Hole at 11am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wilson Volunteer Fire Department Association.
