John Short

John H. Short, PhD Oct. 8, 1944 - April 10, 2015 Dr. John H. Short of Park City, UT & Driggs, ID, 70, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend died Friday, April 10, in an aircraft accident in Idaho. He is survived by wife, Mary; children, Leonard & Starin, Amy & Neil, Leslie & Justin, Levi, Megan, and Shannon; grandchildren, Drew, Gage, Olivia, Ben and Jace; as well as brothers, Jeff & Wendy and Ron & Joanne.

John had a vast love for life and enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, ranching, flying, traveling, and a good book.. An active member of the Teton Valley community that he fell in love with in 1977, and a resident since 1996. A significant supporter of the Friends of the Teton River, he received the Watershed Science award in 2013.
