Kay Kesl,

Kay was born June 8, 1941 in Driggs, Idaho to Henry Beard and Helen Sorg Beard. She had two sisters, Judy and Sharon and a brother Mickey. She attended schools in Tetonia and Driggs. She went on to marry Doug Burnside in 1958 and to them two girls were born. Suesan (Dan) Rogers and Sandy Stull. In 1971 she married Monte Kesl, bringing their families together for a total of six; Lori (Mark) Bruning, Scott (Kim) Kesl, Dan (Kuki) Kesl, and Britt (Amy) Kesl.

Monte and Kay farmed together in the Idaho Falls area and she ran the cafe at Skyline Lanes. Then in 1986 they picked up and moved to Round Mountain NV. They were both employed by Round Mountain Gold Corperation. Kay first worked at the General Store and later went to work as a security guard up until her retirement in 2006. At that time they spent thier summers in Tendoy, Ida. She spent her summers gardening and picking chokecherries and making the Best chokecherry syrup around. She loved riding in the mountains, camping, hunting and fishing. She enjoyed walking and always stayed busy.

She was also a avide bowler. Bowling on several league and traveling to several tournaments, always looking forward to the Vegas tournament.

Kay would never pass up a chance to watch her family compete in thier rodeo events, no matter where she lived. She always had a garden no matter what size or where she had to put it. She loved having her flowers and vegtables.

She loved spending time with her 13 grandkids and 5 great gradkids.

She is preceeded in death by her father Henry Beard, mother Helen Beard, sister Sharon, and brother Mickey.

Services will be graveside only, June 7th at 1:00 at the Cache Clawson Cemetery.
