Linda Lee Fiebranz was born January 11, 1967 in Alexandria, Minnesota the daughter of Raymond and Peggy (Watters) Fiebranz. She disliked her given name preferring to be known as Lou. She died at home on January 4, 2026 at 58 years in Victor, Idaho.

Lou was fiercely independent with the spirit of a warrior and intuition of a healer. She cherished nature, loved the earth and treasured water. Lou was passionate about digging in the dirt, riding fresh powder, and sharing music with her friends while dancing her ass off. She loved to be moving about, blazing trails while forming friendships across MN, ID, AZ, WY & AK.

Lou graduated from Jefferson Sr High (1985) and later from University of Minnesota. She was creative, determined and resourceful, launching and operating successful startup businesses; Hats by Lou, Purple Cornflower, Lou Juls and Bodyworks by Lou. She worked as a bartender, waitress, floral designer, master gardener, bodyworker, jewelry designer, cruise activity director, river raft guide and property caretaker/manager.

Lou is survived by her sister Kathern (Greg) Niblett, brother Bob (April) Fiebranz, nephew Steven (Michaela) Niblett, nieces Lauren (Josh) Eide, Madelyn (Brandon) Andre, Bella Fiebranz, Sofia Fiebranz, loving partner Erik Knutson and sister-in-law Pam Fiebranz along with several great-nieces, great-nephews and oodles of friends.

Preceded in death by parents Peggy Nelson, Raymond Fiebranz, infant sister Karen, brother William, and honorary “big brother” Eddy Niblett.

There will never be another Lou and her spirit is now free.
