Margie Burr

Margie Doneen Burr, 73, of Tetonia, died March 24, 2010, at Teton Valley Hospital from complications related to cancer.

Doneen was born June 4, 1936, in Magna, Utah, to Parley J. Hardman and Lyndell Barton Hardman. She attended Cyprus High School and graduated in 1954. On January 26, 1955, she married her high school sweetheart Dale M. Burr in the Salt Lake Temple.

Doneen lived in many cities in the Salt Lake Valley, Mountain Green, Utah, and Jackson Hole, Wyoming. She lived the last 21 years in Tetonia, Idaho.

Doneen was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was an active member all of her life, serving in several callings and touching many lives.

Doneen will be especially remembered for her fabulous cooking and infectious laugh. She was the heart of a very large, close and loving family.

Doneen is survived by her husband Dale of Tetonia; her children Deann (Dave) Crow of Victor, Idaho; Debbie (Reg) Roberts of Driggs, Idaho; Darrell (Sandy) Burr of Spring City, Utah; Dan (Patti) Burr of Tetonia, Idaho; Darla (Jean-Michel) Bagnoud of Grange, Switzerland; and Danette Burr Stafford of Jackson Hole, Wyoming.

Doneen was the youngest of 10 children. She has 27 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren, with 3 on the way.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Melva Lee, and brothers Delyn and Delbert Hardman.

Services will be held Monday, March 29th, at 11:00 a.m. at the Tetonia LDS Church. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 7:00-8:30 p.m., and Monday morning from 9:30 -10:45 a.m.

Interment will be at the Cache-Clawson Cemetery under the direction of Valley Mortuary in Driggs. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Margie Doneen Burr Benefit Memorial Fund/Wells Fargo Bank.
