Michael J Wood

Michael J Wood 74 of Driggs, Id was born November 14,1950 in Idaho Falls, Id to Dwight and Sylvia (Zonner) Wood. It was a devastatingly sad day when the family found out that he passed away on April 14,2025 in his sleep. After leading a full life in Teton valley.

Michael married Janet Eck and they had 4 kids together Dirk, Michelle, J.B and Mitch.

Michael is survived by his daughter Michelle and son Mitch, several grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, sibling and many nieces and nephews. Michael served proudly in the U.S Army stationed in Germany for 2 years. (1971to1973)

When he returned home, he began working for the Eck Wood Products . Over the years he worked for several other local companies. His last job was for Action Excavation. Regardless of where he worked he was a hardworking man for the company.

Michael was always smiling and laughing. Every chance he got to see his grandchildren and his 3 great grandchildren he would. He had a love for the open road. So he purchased a Harley Davidson Trike so he could ride any chance he had.

Michael is preceded in death by both his parents, 2 sons, a sister and a brother.
