Phyllis Kaufman
November 25, 1924 — August 8, 2010
Phyllis was born November 25, 1924 in Cedron, Idaho to Jacob and Polly Miller Zohner. She lived her entire life in Teton Valley. She married Alfred Kaufman in Teton Canyon on July 10, 1946 and later solemnized their marriage in the Idaho Falls Temple. He later died on November 9, 1995.
She was an active member of the L.D.S. church. She loved horse, quilting, Embroidering, the outdoors and to fly airplanes.
She is survived by her 3 sons: Warren (Tina) Kaufman of Alta, Wyoming; Ardell Kaufman of Parker, Idaho and Ben Kaufman of Tetonia, Idaho; a daughter Julie of Alta, Wyoming; 4 brothers: LaVar Zohner; Dorin Zohner; Daryl Zohner and Gary Zohner; 9 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her daughter Garlene Kaufman; 4 brothers: Mark; Archie; Dan and Lewis Kaufman and 2 sisters: Sylvia Wood and Vonnie Zohner.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 5, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at the Driggs L.D.S. Church with a visitation Wednesday August 4, from 7:00 - 8:30 at the Valley Mortuary and on Thursday preceding the funeral from 9:30 - 10:45. Burial will be in the Pratt Cemetery under the direction of the Valley Mortuary in Driggs.
