Ruby Fullmer

March 28, 1926 — December 24, 2008

Ruby H. Fullmer, 82, of Tetonia, Idaho, died December 24, 2008, at her son's home in Idaho Falls.

She was born March 28, 1926, to Paul August Hansen and Matilda Jane Hansen. She grew up in Clawson, east of Tetonia, and graduated from Teton High School. On June 7, 1948, she married Earl Ray Fullmer in Tetonia. Their marriage was later solemnized March 3, 1965 in the Idaho Falls Temple. She worked for Simplot Potatoes as a crew manager and as a clerk at The Wardrobe and Fashion Boutique.

She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and held many callings in the church. Her favorite callings included Relief Society President, compassionate service leader and teacher in the Relief Society.

She loved helping others around her. Many people were recipients of her gentle touch and compassionate service. She loved her family and was so proud of all of them. Many bear hugs were received by all.

Survivors include her children, Beverly (Clint) Beard of Idaho Falls, Lance (Clea) Fullmer of Idaho Falls, Kurt (Lorri) Fullmer of Logan, Utah, Toni (Kim) Kearsley of Delta, Utah, 21 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Matilda Hansen, her husband, Earl Ray Fullmer, a son, Brent Earl Fullmer, two granddaughters, Crystal Whitaker and Kelia Fullmer, a brother, Paul Junior Hansen, A½ Siblings, Lindy Waldrom, Dorothy Partridge, Hillman Bay, Wilba Bay, Therol Bay and Thora Miles.

Funeral services will be Saturday, December 27, 2008, at 11:30 a.m. at the Tetonia LDS Church. The family will visit with friends from 9:00 - 11:00 a.m. before the service at the church. A private family viewing will be held Friday at the Valley Mortuary. Burial will be in the Cache-Clawson Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Valley Mortuary of Driggs.
