Tammy Grunig

July 1, 1959 — November 27, 2009

Tammy Lynn Grunig, 50, of Pocatello, died November 27, 2009, due to a hiking accident in Southern Utah.

Tammy is survived by her beloved husband of 30 years, Michael and her children; Charlie, Whitney, Trevor, and Mindy. She is also survived by six grandchildren, her parents; Fred and Norma Jean Clemons, two sisters; Merritt Clemons, Lisa Morrow and two brothers; Justin and Tyson.

Tammy was born July 1, 1959 in Rexburg, Idaho. She attended and graduated from Pocatello High School in 1977. She later received her Masters Degree from Idaho State University in 1992. For the past 18 years Tammy has worked at the Portneuf Medical Center as a Speech Pathologist. Tammy loved her work and enjoyed working with people of all ages. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and she served in numerous positions.

Tammy and Michael were avid travelers, campers, and truly loved the outdoors. In recent years they joined a motorcycle riding club and had numerous scenic outings. Her positive, loving nature will be missed by all that knew her. We know she is in the hands of our Heavenly Father and she will be watching over us until we meet again.

Funeral Service will be held Friday, December 4 at 11:00 A.M. at the Portneuf L.D.S. Building, 8200 W. Portneuf Rd. Family will receive friend s at 9:30 prior to the service. Services are under the direction of Relyea Funeral Chapel and Valley Mortuary
