Raised in Ohio near the glow of steel mills, Tim read stories of hunting and fishing in Wyoming, and vowed to move here. Tim attended Ohio State University on a basketball scholarship and, after graduating, joined a semi-professional team. Following his basketball career, employment as a claims adjuster provided the opportunity to move westward. Tim settled in Salt Lake City in 1972, still dreaming of a life in Wyoming. Finally, in 1978, Tim moved to Jackson, opened his own independent claims adjusting business and, within a week, met his future wife, friend, hunting companion, and business partner. Married in 1982, life for Tim and Barbara became a series of adventures while hunting, fishing, canoeing, and skiing. Tim's intelligent, lively conversation and good humor will be missed by his family and friends.
Tim is survived by his wife, Barbara, sons Patrick (and Norma) of Carson City, NV, Sean (and Echo) of Orlando, FL, grandchildren Charles and Tim, and brother, Dennis of Pocatello, ID.
A Memorial Service and celebration of Tim's life will be held July 27th near the mountain location where his ashes will be laid to rest.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to St. John's Oncology, Attn: Dondi Weeks, P.O. Box 428, Jackson, WY 83001.
